Exercise is an important part of any JSpA treatment program, along with good posture habits and medication to reduce pain and stiffness when needed. A consistent and appropriate exercise program will help youth maintain good posture, flexibility, and eventually help to lessen pain and fatigue.
Participation in sports can be an important part of a young person’s life. When JSpA is well treated and managed, our goal is that kids be able, and are encouraged, to participate in any sport they are interested in! For those times and instances when JSpA is not fully under control, we offer some tips to help keep active.
